Urgo Gentle Cleansing Compresses for Families and Infants

Sterile, non- woven family and infant wipes are indicated for cleaning superficial wounds. They have a soft texture to gently cleanse wounds or minor everyday scrapes. They are hypoallergenic and sterile for optimal hygiene.

Instructions for use :

Wound cleaning / dressing application:

1. Wash your hands with soap and water.
2. Open a sterile sachet.
3. Clean and disinfect the wound and its surroundings with a compress, an antiseptic solution or other active ingredient, then dry the wound with a compress.
4. If necessary, proceed with hemostasis (stopping bleeding by a physical method).
5. Depending on the size of the wound and the amount of exudate, cover the wound with one or two compresses.
6. Secure with adhesive tape or any other means of fastening.
7. Change the dressing, according to the instructions for use, once or twice a day depending on the prescription, the condition of the wound or the dressing.

Healthy skin cleansing:

1. Open a sterile sachet.
2. Use a compress to clean the desired area, using saline solution if necessary.

Precautions :

• Regularly monitor a wound and its surrounding area to detect any signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, odor or suppuration.
• In case of doubt or infection, contact a doctor or nursing service.
• Sterile single-use compresses: do not reuse, do not store compresses in an open bag, do not reposition a compress already applied, otherwise there is a risk of infection.
• If redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use.
• Ethylene oxide sterilized compresses, do not resterilize. Check the integrity of the sterility protector before use. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
• Do not use the compresses for more than 30 consecutive days without interruption.
• Do not use after the expiry date (indicated on the sachet and on the box).
• Keep the compress sachets in their original box.

Composition: Viscose, polyester.

Size: 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm. Available in boxes of 20 or 50 compresses.
