Product information
Corn and Corneal Plasters - Urgo
Thanks to their hydrocolloid mass , URGO Corn & Bunion Treatment dressings relieve pain from the first application and eliminate pressure areas and protect against shoe friction. In addition, the emollient and moisturizing action of the glycerin helps to soften and gently remove corns. Ultra thin and transparent, they ensure total discretion when treating emerging calluses.
Instructions for use:
- Make sure that the skin of the horn/partridge eye does not present no lesions, no wounds, no redness.
- Soak the foot 10 minutes in hot water .
- Clean and disinfect the horn/partridge eye and its surroundings with an antiseptic solution (alcohol-free). Rinse then dry with a sterile compress or leave to dry.
- Warm the dressing in the hands
- Remove the first protective fin without touching the central adhesive part of the dressing.
- Apply the hydrocolloid dressing centered on the corn/corn. The corn/corn should be completely covered by the dressing.
- Remove the second protection by smoothing and pressing the edges of the dressing to increase adhesion.
Renew the dressing according to the instructions, on average once a day , or when it starts to crease. The dressing should not remain in place for more than 2 to 3 days , after which it should be removed if it has not come off on its own.
- Once the dressing is removed, remove/shave off the excess softened skin on the surface of the corn/corn and reapply a new dressing if necessary, according to the instructions for use.
Indications/precautions:
- Hydrocolloid dressing, non-sterile, indicated for the treatment of corns
- Single use only. Do not cut. Do not reposition a dressing once applied (risk of poor hygiene and non-adherence)
